REFUND POLICY

1. Introduction
This Refund Policy ("Policy") governs all professional consulting services provided by Fairmont Alliance ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").
Fairmont Alliance provides specialized IT consulting services, including Data Engineering, Analytics Consulting, Cloud Solutions, Business Intelligence, Data Architecture, and related technology services.
Because our services involve customized professional expertise, technical resources, planning, engineering effort, and project-specific solutions, refund eligibility is determined based on the circumstances of each engagement.
By purchasing services, signing an agreement, approving a proposal, or engaging Fairmont Alliance for consulting services, the Client ("Client," "you," or "your") acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this Refund Policy.
2. Nature of Professional Services
Fairmont Alliance provides customized consulting services designed around each Client's specific business requirements, technical environment, and objectives.

Unlike physical products, consulting services involve immediate allocation of professional resources, including consultants, engineers, architects, analysts, and project managers.
Once resources are allocated and work begins, the Company incurs costs that cannot always be recovered.
3. General Refund Principles
Fairmont Alliance is committed to delivering high-quality consulting services and maintaining strong client relationships.
If a Client has concerns regarding the quality, scope, or progress of services, the Client should contact Fairmont Alliance as soon as possible so that reasonable efforts can be made to address the issue.
Refunds are not automatically granted.
Each refund request is reviewed individually based on:
project status;
services completed;
resources allocated;
expenses incurred;
contractual obligations;
circumstances surrounding the request.
4. Non-Refundable Services
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or specifically agreed in writing, professional services become non-refundable once work has started.

Work is considered started when Fairmont Alliance performs any project-related activity, including meetings, analysis, planning, research, architecture work, documentation, engineering, or resource allocation.
5. Refund Eligibility
Refund requests may be considered only under specific circumstances.
5.1 Duplicate Payments
If a Client accidentally makes duplicate payments for the same invoice or service, Fairmont Alliance may issue a refund for the duplicate payment after verification.
Verification may include:
payment records;
invoice information;
transaction confirmation.
5.2 Cancellation Before Services Begin
If:
no work has started;
no resources have been assigned;
no discovery activities have occurred;
no project planning has been performed;
the Client may request cancellation.
The Company may issue a full refund or deduct administrative costs, payment processing fees, or other non-recoverable expenses.
5.3 Company Unable to Deliver Services
If Fairmont Alliance determines that it cannot provide contracted services due to internal limitations, the Company may provide:
a full refund;
a partial refund;
alternative service arrangements.
The final determination will be made based on the circumstances of the engagement.
6. Partial Refunds
If services have already begun, Fairmont Alliance may consider a partial refund.
The refund amount may be calculated based on:
completed work;
hours invested;
consultant time;
completed deliverables;
technical research;
project management effort;
documentation created;
third-party costs;
administrative expenses.
The Company reserves the right to retain payment for all completed work.
7. Milestone-Based Projects
Some engagements are structured around milestones.
Examples include:

Knowledge Transfer Phase
For milestone-based projects:
completed milestones are non-refundable;
accepted deliverables are considered earned;
payments for completed phases remain due.
Refund requests may only apply to future milestones that have not started.
8. Client Cancellation
A Client may request cancellation of services by providing written notice.
Cancellation does not automatically create a right to a refund.
The Client remains responsible for:
completed work;
committed resources;
completed milestones;
expenses already incurred.
Any unused portion of the engagement may be reviewed according to this Policy.
9. Client Delays and Project Interruptions
Fairmont Alliance is not responsible for delays caused by Client actions or circumstances outside the Company's control.
Refunds will generally not be provided due to:
delayed approvals;
missing information;
unavailable personnel;
delayed access credentials;
incomplete requirements;
internal business changes;
postponed meetings;
lack of communication.
If a project becomes inactive due to Client delays, Fairmont Alliance may pause, reschedule, or close the engagement.
10. Change Requests and Scope Changes
Technology projects may evolve during implementation.
Changes to project requirements may affect:
timeline;
resources;
deliverables;
project costs.
Refunds will not be issued because a Client changes project requirements, business strategy, priorities, or desired outcomes after work has started.
Additional work may require a revised statement of work or additional fees.
11. Third-Party Costs
Fairmont Alliance may use or recommend third-party services, including:
cloud platforms;
software licenses;
hosting providers;
analytics platforms;
security tools;
technology vendors.
Third-party costs are separate from consulting fees and are generally non-refundable.
Fairmont Alliance is not responsible for third-party pricing changes, outages, service limitations, or vendor decisions.
12. Project Acceptance
Deliverables may be considered accepted when:
the Client approves the deliverable;
the Client begins using the deliverable;
the Client does not provide written objections within a reasonable review period.
Accepted deliverables are not eligible for refund.
13. No Guarantee of Business Results
Fairmont Alliance provides professional technology consulting based on industry standards and available information.
However, we do not guarantee specific business outcomes, including:
increased revenue;
cost reductions;
operational improvements;
investment returns;
regulatory approvals;
business growth.
Business results depend on many factors outside the Company's control.
14. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Clients agree to contact Fairmont Alliance before initiating any chargeback, payment reversal, or financial dispute.
The Company reserves the right to provide supporting documentation, including:
contracts;
invoices;
statements of work;
project communications;
deliverables;
time records;
technical documentation.
Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may result in:
suspension of services;
termination of agreements;
collection activities;
legal remedies where permitted.
15. Refund Request Procedure
All refund requests must be submitted in writing.
Requests should include:
Client name;

Invoice number;
Payment date;
Amount paid;
Description of the refund request;

16. Refund Review Process

17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fairmont Alliance shall not be responsible for:
indirect damages;
consequential damages;
lost profits;
business interruption;

The Company's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
18. Governing Law
This Refund Policy shall be governed by the laws of the state where Fairmont Alliance is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
19. Changes to This Refund Policy
Fairmont Alliance reserves the right to update this Refund Policy from time to time.
Any changes become effective when published on the Company website.
